Hello
Welcome to Re:Dress Scotland!
We are on a mission to make fast fashion obsolete and encourage more individuality, creativity and personal expression through what we wear.
We’re the creators of the Scottish Festival of Slow Fashion, the first of its kind in the U.K., celebrating and promoting restyling, remaking, and slow fashion designers. Our bi-monthly magazine, PULP! is the only Scottish magazine dedicated to the creative side of slow fashion and style. We are also the creators of “ReDress the Brave” the world’s first official Scottish tartan celebrating and promoting slow fashion.
We’re at the head of the game!
Our aim is to inspire, create, and nurture talent in fashion and creative industries, to encourage imaginative reuse and restyling, reduce waste, and end our toxic relationship with fast fashion for good!

About us
Founded in 2021, Re:Dress Scotland is an award winning social enterprise, and the first slow fashion advocate in South Scotland to focus entirely on encouraging creativity in fashion through using clothing and textiles already in circulation. Re:Dress promotes reuse, recycling, upcycling, and repurposing of garments and textiles as a means of countering “fast fashion”, which has a destructive impact on the world’s environment and on garment workers’ lives.
Re:Dress also provides creative opportunities for people with little or no experience and/or formal qualifications.
We are a member organisation of Circular Communities Scotland, Social Enterprise Scotland and Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway.
(Dumfries Slow Fashion Movement CIC, SC707553)
We are delighted to have been selected as the winner of the 2023 Dumfries & Galloway Life Award for Environment Champion sponsored by the University of Glasgow.
